Trim Levels of the 2018 Dodge Journey

The 2018 Dodge Journey is an excellent choice for an SUV. With three-rows of seats, you are sure to be able to fit your entire family! Knowing the Journey is the vehicle for you was the hard part. Now you just need to figure out which trim level is perfect. Whether you need an economical base trim or a fully inclusive top-level trim loaded with all the possible features, there is a trim for you. The available 2018 trims would be the SE, the SXT, the Crossroad, and the GT. Each of these trims can be found with a choice of two engines and front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Read on to learn what is included with each trim level.

 

SE Trim:

This trim starts us off at the most basic level. Standard features that are found on this level can also be found or upgraded on the following levels. As a base, this trim is the most budget conscious and you may find that it already has everything you could possibly need. Features that are included with the SE would be 17-inch steel wheels, dual-zone climate control, a height-adjustable steering wheel, a 60/40 split second-row, a six-speaker sound system, a 4.3-inch touchscreen interface, and keyless ignition. If you do, however, feel that you need a little more with this trim, there are available packages like the Connectivity package, the Popular Equipment package, and the Comfort/Convenience package.

 

SXT Trim:

This second trim level steps it up a little with all the contents of the Connectivity and Popular Equipment packages: Bluetooth, voice commands, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a USB port, satellite radio, a conversation mirror, three-zone climate control, and overhead console storage. In addition to this, the SXT trim also has the ability to add a Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen, aimable interior lights, a rearview camera, a power-adjustable driver seat, and more.

 

Crossroad Trim:

With the Crossroad trim, you simply add from the previous trim with features like 19-inch black-painted alloy wheels, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, aimable interior lights, three-zone automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera. Additionally, you can add features like a premium six-speaker stereo system with subwoofer, heated front seats, leather upholstery, a sunroof, a rear-seat entertainment system, navigation, and even a Driver Convenience package. This package would add rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and a universal garage door opener.

 

GT Trim:

This final trim builds further with features like 19-inch alloy wheels, a security alarm, remote start, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, a premium stereo sound system, and heated front seats. This trim comes with the same additional choices as the Crossroad trim, as well as, the option for a hitch and four-pin wiring system.
