The Ram 1500 includes the 5-inch Uconnect® 3 screen that drivers can use to select their media options. The options include the standard AM/FM radio, the USB or auxiliary-connected media player, or even audio streaming through the Bluetooth® system, which doubles as the hands-free phone form of communication. 

The interior media options can be upgraded to include more options and features. This includes the Uconnect® 4 display screen which measures to 8.4-inches and provides higher-resolution graphics. This screen can also be outfitted with navigation to provide turn-by-turn directions and visual maps that lead you to your destination. Other features available are Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. These features integrate your smartphone into the touchscreen, allowing you to access your media options, apps, and phone contacts right from the touchscreen.

When drivers upgrade to the Laramie trim or higher, they’ll have the option of including the 12-inch touchscreen. On top of a major boost in size, this screen displays more vehicle-centric information, as well as your media options and phone connectivity.

Also available is the heated steering wheel, which adds even more warmth during the brisk winters. This truck also offers adjustable comfort in the form of the 8-way power adjustable seats. On top of providing the option to customize the posture and position of the seat, it adds lumbar support to provide more optional comfort. 

Safety Technology & Available Driver-Assistance Features

This powerful pickup includes some standard safety technology to add more security to your drives. The Electronic Roll Mitigation and Electronic Stability Control help by ensuring that the truck achieves traction during slick road conditions to avoid wheel slippage or a possible roll over. 

Drivers have the option of including more safety features like the Hill Descent Control, which uses selective braking to ensure total control when traveling down a steep incline. The available Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning can detect when there’s an object in the path of the truck so you can take measures to stop the vehicle or slow down to reduce the severity of impact.
