The power behind the Charger SRT is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine. This engine generates 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. The V8 comes with the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. This transmission operates in eight gears to give excellent performance in all kinds of driving conditions. There is an available engine block heater that will warm the engine and oil to make it easier to start up in the cold. The all-wheel drive system gives the driver amazing control through tough conditions because of a front-axle disconnect system and active transfer case. The SRT features a Bilstein three-mode adaptive damping suspension that allows the driver to select different drive modes with Sport, Track, and Default. The drive modes allow the driver to make the driving experience their own by controlling paddle shifters, steering, transmission shift speed, suspension, and traction. The fuel economy is 16 mpg combined with 13 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway.
