Drivers have the option of pushing the performance further with the 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine. This engine includes a 6-speed automatic transmission and can produce 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine also provides the SUV with the ability to tow 2,500 pounds, so if road trips are on the itinerary, choosing the V6 may be the right move.
Cabin Space & Comfort
The 2018 Dodge Journey offers a remarkable amount of cabin space for its seven total passengers. The vehicle includes three rows of seating, the last row can hold two passengers, the middle three passengers, and of course, the driver and front passenger in the first row. The middle row includes the 60/40 split bench and the rear seats include the 50/50 split seats, making the cabin easy to reconfigure to accommodate for more cargo.
As for space, passengers in the front get 40.8 inches for both headroom and legroom. Passengers riding in the middle row get 39.9 inches of headroom and 35.1 inches of legroom. The Dodge Journey includes 11 cubic feet of cargo space which boosts to 37 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded, and 68 cubic feet when the middle and rear rows are folded.
Entertainment & Technology Features
There are plenty of options to consider with the features included in the 2018 Dodge Journey. The vehicle includes a 4.3-inch display screen that will detail the specific media playing through the vehicle’s 6-speaker sound system. The SUV includes an AM/FM radio, as well as an auxiliary input and a USB port for any media devices to be plugged into the stereo.
